Marino Marini

Marini constantly uses the theme of rider and horse in his work symbolizing the inter-relationship between the two.  His extended use of Dancers and Jugglers is recurring and dominant.

They display vibrancy, an attempt to escape restraints. His themes are timeless.  In his paintings and graphics, colour takes on a predominating importance.  The tension and excitement between the different tones and colours is nothing short of brilliant.  Marini had an immense creative energy not unlike Picasso with whom he has been compared.

Marini is well represented in most major European and American Galleries.
